My name is Donald Hood. I developed an interest in photography at about 6 years old, getting my first darkroom kit in 3rd grade. During the 80's I moved to California and absorbed all the new techniques that were evolving from the movie sets to still photography studios. I brought that knowledge back home to Alabama and opened Status Image in 1989. Attention to detail, quality work, and quick turnaround has given my studio a solid base of clients who appreciate the personal attention and care given to their business ideas. In this small southern town where politics are crooked and friendship is forever, we have established a very lucrative business model based on the golden rule, and pride in our work.
